NIA Small Business Showcase
The NIA Small Business Programs support companies conducting research to address factors that impact the aging population, as well as related conditions like Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
To foster early-stage research that has the potential for commercialization, NIA provides more than $140 million in funding and resources for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. The companies showcased in this online portfolio are developing groundbreaking technologies and interventions to address aging, aging-related diseases, and the special needs of older Americans.
These companies are grouped into four categories:
Each of the companies were selected by the NIH Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Innovator Support Teams to present at an investor/partnering showcase, such as BIO, Angel Capital Association Summit, RESI, Life Sciences Summit, MedTech Conference, and the What’s Next Longevity Venture Summit.
Please review the information about our showcase companies to determine if there is any alignment or potential partnership interest with your existing or future portfolio.
It is now more important than ever to foster partnerships that will help catalyze the development of innovative technologies to improve the quality of life for older Americans. Learn more about NIA’s work and the small businesses we fund.
