NIA Small Business Sample Applications
Through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, NIA aims to help small businesses develop effective treatments and interventions for healthy aging.
NIA only considers strong applications for funding. Several of the examples below include unsuccessful original submissions as well as funded resubmissions that sufficiently addressed feedback from NIH’s rigorous peer-review process. NIH small business funding is a competitive process, and resubmissions are a common and important part of the award process.
Applicants should contact the NIA Small Business Programs before resubmitting an application for consideration.
