Entrepreneur Workshop Series
The Entrepreneur Workshop Series, co-hosted by NIA and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), offers research entrepreneurs and biotech small business owners expert guidance on key components of start-up success. Sessions take place throughout 2021 and will be archived on this page.
This workshop from February 9, 2021, provides guidance on assessing business and research opportunities (e.g., market research, healthcare economics, reimbursement).
Corporate Governance and Management
This workshop from March 16, 2021, advises start-ups and small businesses on how to create a governing framework and process, including incorporation options and establishing a board of directors.
