Summary of Key Accomplishments
The Dementia Nomenclature Initiative (DeNomI) DeNomI has formed research, clinical and public stakeholder working groups and will report out to the NAPA Council. The DeNomI initiative has a goal of increasing everyone’s, including the general public’s, understanding of cognitive impairment including dementia diagnoses by using plain and clear language that advances health equity when discussing dementia, without sacrificing accuracy of terminology.
