The Cardiovascular Biology Section was formed in 2000 and is comprised of four units: Human Studies Unit, Basic Cardiac and Vascular study Units and Receptor Signaling Unit. The present primary research focus of the Cardiac Unit is on mechanisms of pacemaker cell function.
