The Laboratory of Clinical Investigation (LCI) is comprised of 3 Sections and 2 Units with 5 principal investigators. These are as follows: Bioanalytical Chemistry and Drug Discovery Section; Diabetes Section; Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy Section; Lipid Peroxidation Unite; and Magnetic Resonance Physics of Aging and dementia Unit. The common theme and thread among these research groups is that of the identification and development of new therapeutic targets for the treatment of age-related disease. The Laboratory serves as an infrastructure to facilitate the creation and development of therapeutic targets within the Laboratory and across the Intramural Research Program.
