Notice: NIA Intervention Testing Program NIA ITP) Announces Annual Call Compounds Test Anti-Aging Activity Mice Notice Number: NOT-AG-13-007 Key Dates Release Date: April 12, 2013 Proposal Due Date:  September 20, 2013 Issued National Institute Aging NIA) Purpose National Institute Aging NIA) Interventions Testing Program ITP) established test compounds purported extend lifespan and/or delay onset disease disability.  NIA ITP tests such compounds mice, using variety measured endpoints assess efficacy interventions.  are three sites perform testing, at University Michigan, at University Texas Health Sciences Center-San Antonio, one the Jackson Laboratory.  is anticipated 3-5 compounds be accepted study 2014.
