Workshop on Behavioral Economics: Exploring Applications and Research Methods

On July 18 and 19, 2022, the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) committee on Future Directions for Applying Behavioral Economics to Policy and the National Institute on Aging convened an expert meeting that examined strategies for applying behavioral economics in a wide range of domains, including reducing disparities in education quality and outcomes as well as in criminal justice and incarceration, improving economic well-being, and informing decision-making when decisions have environmental implications.
