Webnovela Mirela
Webnovela Mirela is an informative program for Hispanic/Latino caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's or other dementia. Developed through a collaboration of Stanford University, the Stanford Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, and the Alzheimer's Association, the program is named after Mirela, the main character of the story. Mirela struggles with the challenges of caring for her mother, who is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, while raising children and taking care of her own family. The webnovela includes strategies, tips, and techniques for dealing with difficult situations that arise.
