Time-Lapse Video of PET Scan

This 36-second time-lapse video from the Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (Knight ADRC) at Washington University in St. Louis shows amyloid-beta deposition before and after onset of Alzheimer's disease symptoms using a positron emission tomography (PET) scan. The time lapse begins from 25 years before Alzheimer’s symptoms present to 10 years after.
