A Road Map to Caregiving
The Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center offers an eight-page guide for primary caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease. Primary caregivers are often a family member or friend and this resource focuses on helping them navigate the role. The PDF includes information about being a primary caregiver and why it’s important that caregivers have support. The center offers resources to help guide the journey, such as how to build a support network, tips when making decisions becomes harder, caring for a friend or family member in the late stages of the disease, and the importance of seeking out research opportunities.
