Recruitment and Educational Resources for American Indian Veterans

The Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) offers two resources — a recruitment poster and an informational flyer — to educate and recruit American Indian veterans. The resources explain how veterans and American Indians are at high risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease, list common warning signs, describe lifestyle changes that may lower risk of disease, and provide information on participating in research. The resources include original artwork by a Vietnam war veteran from the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin.
