Prioritization Tool for Clinical Research Sponsors and Patient Groups

This online tool helps clinical research sponsors and patient groups identify high-value opportunities to work together. The tool provides and defines more than 20 opportunities for patient group engagement (e.g., providing feedback on various aspects of the proposed trial, providing financial support, participating in events such as meetings with regulators, assisting with dissemination of results). Users of the tool can also add their own opportunities. Each selected opportunity can be ranked high, medium, or low for two measures: investment required and benefit expected. Opportunities are represented visually on a grid, and they can be moved within the display. Sponsors and patient groups can complete separate displays for comparison and discussion.
