Perceptions of Caring Recruitment Among Older Adults: African Americans and Non-Latinx Whites

This study explored whether the caring behaviors of research teams influence the recruitment of African American and Non-Latinx White older adults. Researchers found that individuals who characterized study teams as more caring were more likely to participate, regardless of race. Findings suggest it is essential to employ caring behaviors in recruitment approaches.
