Mild Cognitive Impairment and Brain Amyloid Imaging Decision Aid From AGREEDementia

This tool from the Advisory Group on Risk Evidence Education for Dementia (AGREEDementia) is designed to help patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) decide whether or not to undergo brain amyloid imaging. The guide describes the relationship between MCI and Alzheimer's, as well as the information that amyloid imaging can provide someone with MCI. The flyer explains how brain amyloid imaging works, how a positive or negative scan may inform treatment decisions, and why someone with MCI may or may not choose to undergo amyloid imaging.
