Mechanisms by Which Cultural-Centric Narrative Influences Interest in ADRD Research Among African American Adults

This study examines factors associated with interest in Alzheimer’s disease research among Black or African American adults following exposure to a suite of narrative-based, online recruitment materials. Findings suggest that participant narratives in recruitment materials should address experiences regarding the burdens and potential benefits of Alzheimer’s research participation.
