Leveraging African American Family Connectors for Alzheimer’s Disease Genomic Studies

This article describes a strategy to recruit African American families into an Alzheimer’s disease genomic study. The strategy leveraged “family connectors” — trusted individuals within a family who served as a point of contact but did not need to be eligible for the study.
