Dementia Friends USA Initiative

Through videos and in-person sessions, this program encourages community members to obtain insight into what it’s like to live with dementia and to turn that understanding into action. A 2-minute trailer at the website introduces the program.

The University of Washington Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center has worked with its partners in the Washington State Dementia Action Collaborative to implement Dementia Friends.
