Communicating 5-Year Risk of Alzheimer's Disease Dementia: Development and Evaluation of Materials That Incorporate Multiple Genetic and Biomarker Research Results

Researchers developed and tested materials that educate cognitively normal older adult participants about their five-year absolute risk of developing Alzheimer’s using research results. The goal was to offer results to those who wish to receive them while building evidence on the psychosocial impact of sharing the results. Researchers plan to finalize the materials and protocol and make those available for use by others.
