Brain Donation Social Media Toolkit
Brain donation helps researchers better understand the causes and potential treatments for brain disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The National Institute on Aging (NIA) developed a health information article and social media toolkit to help educate the general public and professionals about why people donate their brains, the process of brain donation, and how to make a donation plan. Share these materials on social media, in newsletters, and in person with potential research participants and their family members to help researchers advance the study of brain disorders. Materials are available in English and Spanish.
