Studies consistently show the negative health impact of sleep problems in both people with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. This study aims to develop a sleep intervention tailored for caregiver and care recipient pairs. One group of caregivers will receive educational information without specific recommendations, while another group will receive sleep recommendations and a behavioral sleep intervention. Researchers will compare changes in sleep efficiency and quality, dementia behaviors, and caregiver depression and stress. The sleep program involves four face-to-face meetings plus one telephone session.
