Self-Management of Chronic Pain and Negative Emotions

What Is This Study About?

This 24-week pilot study will test the effects of Problem Adaptation Therapy for Pain, or PATH-Pain, in helping to reduce negative emotions and pain in older adults who are cognitively normal or have mild cognitive impairment.

Do I Qualify To Participate in This Study?

Minimum Age: 60 Years

Maximum Age: N/A

Must have:

  • Chronic pain (pain on most days in past 2 months)
  • Negative emotions

Must NOT have:

  • Montreal Cognitive Assessment score less than 16
  • Cancer-related pain
