Citicoline for Age-Associated Memory Impairment

What Is This Study About?

This trial is testing the effects of a citicoline supplement on cognitive performance in healthy adults with age-associated memory impairment.

Do I Qualify To Participate in This Study?

Minimum Age: 50 Years

Maximum Age: 85 Years

Must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Self-reported memory loss
  • Mini-Mental State Examination score of 24 or higher 
  • Kaufman Brief Intelligence Test score of 85 or higher
  • Geriatric Depression Scale score of 5 or higher
  • Spatial Span Test score of 4, 3, or 2
  • No health conditions that would prevent fulfilling study requirements

Must NOT have:

  • Color blind
  • Abnormal laboratory test results
  • Major medical or neurological illness
  • Pregnant or planning to be pregnant during the study period
  • Treatment with a drug that might interfere with results
