Tele-Savvy Education Program for Dementia Caregivers

What Is This Study About?

This study is testing an Internet-based education program for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's or another dementia.

Do I Qualify To Participate in This Study?

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum Age: N/A

Must have:

  • Caregiver of a person with early- to middle-stage Alzheimer's disease or another dementia
  • Provide an average of at least 4 hours a day of unpaid assistance
  • Person with dementia lives with the caregiver or in the community, with no plans for institutionalization in the next 6 months
  • Access to a computer or mobile device with Internet connection, microphone, and speakers
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Must NOT have:

  • Involvement in another caregiver training study
  • Previous participation in Tele-Savvy or an in-person Savvy Caregiver Program
  • Vision or hearing deficits that might prevent participation
