4 Repeat Tauopathy Neuroimaging Initiative Cycle 2 (4RTNI-2)

Start: January 2016
End: December 2021
Enrollment: 232

What Is This Study About?

This study will identify reliable methods for tracking the progression of corticobasal degeneration (CBD), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), and oligosymptomatic/variant progressive supranuclear palsy (o/vPSP) over time. Researchers will conduct a variety of tests, including brain imaging, eye movement, retinal imaging, blood and cerebrospinal fluid samples, and measurements of cognitive function. The results of this study may help the development of treatments for these neurological diseases. The study will also provide information about how brain imaging techniques for diagnosis compare with testing blood, urine, and cerebrospinal fluids.
