Mingyi WANG

Biography
Mingyi Wang received his M.D. degree from Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences, Changchun, China, in 1988, and the M.S. and the Ph.D. degrees from Peking Union Medical College and the Chinese Academy of Medicine Sciences, Beijing, China, in 1991 and 1998, respectively. He finished his postdoctoral training in cardiovascular sciences at the National Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health under Dr. Edward G. Lakatta in 2003. Since then, he has been promoted to the positions of Staff Scientist at the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Sciences, the National Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health (NIH), Maryland, USA. He was also an adjunct assistance professor, Johns Hopkins School of Bloomberg Public Health, Baltimore, Maryland, USA and a gust professor, Jilin University, China. His research mainly focuses on the underlying molecular and cellular mechanisms of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular structural and functional remodeling, including cardiac conduction system, during aging
