Biography
Dr. Sergei Romashkan is a well-established clinical research professional with 30 years of clinical research and 19 years of clinical trials experience. He has strong, in-depth knowledge of regulatory and operational aspects of clinical trials at all phases of drug development. He is highly experienced in design, planning, management, implementation, monitoring and analysis of single- and multi-center clinical trials in numerous topic areas, including aging, endocrinology, cardiovascular disease, pain, and diabetes. Dr. Romashkan started his scientific career in the academic setting and then held a number of positions with the pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations before coming to the National Institute on Aging.
