Laura MAJOR

Biography
Dr. Laura Major is a senior health specialist in NIA’s Division of Behavioral and Social Research (BSR). Laura manages a grant portfolio focused on physical activity interventions to promote healthy aging and coordinates scientific administration activities for BSR, including funding opportunity announcement development and administrative supplement review and approval. Prior to joining BSR, Laura worked for Westat on research operations for the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). Laura's DrPH in Health Behavior was awarded by The George Washington University. Laura received an MPH in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a BA in Anthropology and Psychology from Dickinson College.
