Chief Grants Management Officer for the National Institute on Aging (NIA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), DHHS, responsible for the fiscal, business management and administrative issues relating to the specific grants and grants programs, federal regulations and NIH policies for extramural research. Serves on the Grants Management Advisory Committee, OD, NIH to ensure compliance with fiscal and administrative policy requirements. She holds a Level IV Grants Management Certification.
2020 – NIH Director’s Award for the System for Aging Grants Execution (SAGE) Implementation Team on the implementing and executing the new Funding Book System for Grant Applications assigned to the NIA.
2016 – HHS Secretary’s Commendation for her dedication, professionalism, initiative in furthering HITECH Act through the expeditious award of grants and contracts and the issuance of regulations.
