I am originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I graduated with a B.A. in Brain and Cognitive Science and Psychology with Honors from the University of Rochester. While at U of R, I assisted with research looking at translational brain mapping of language and concepts during intraoperative neurosurgery. I also worked with research looking at sports-related concussions sustained by collegiate athletes through the DOD NCAA CARE Consortium. Since joining the Brain Aging and Behavior Section of LBN, I am researching the longitudinal effects concussions have on the aging brain using neuroimaging. I am also assisting with studies looking at the changes associated with hippocampal function and aging. I plan to go on to pursue a doctorate in clinical neuropsychology.
