Yih-Woei FRIDELL
Biography
Yih-Woei Fridell, Ph.D., joined the Cell Biology Branch in the Division of Aging Biology in 2015 as a program officer managing a research portfolio focused on metabolism, mitochondrial biology and physiology, redox signaling and dietary interventions in the context of aging and healthspan. Previously, in the Department of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Yih-Woei had conducted independent research funded by NIA and NINDS. Yih-Woei received her doctorate from the Department of Biology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and post-doctoral training at both UNC and the National Cancer Institute.
