Basil ELDADAH

Biography
Basil Eldadah oversees a portfolio of translational and clinical research in older adults across a variety of areas and mechanisms including palliative care and symptom management (e.g., pain and fatigue), HIV/AIDS, and geriatric oncology. He also helps oversee the Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Centers (OAICs).
Dr. Eldadah received his MD and PhD degrees from Georgetown University School of Medicine, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and a fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology at the NIH Clinical Center with an emphasis on autonomic physiology and neurocardiologic disorders. He has been at the NIA since 2006.
