Anjali BYAPPANAHALLI

Biography
Anjali received her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Physiology from Purdue University in May 2021. Her undergraduate research focused on the role of extraceullar vesicles in driving cancer phenotypes in non-small cell lung cancer under the mentorship of Dr. Andrea Kasinski’s in the Department of Biological Sciences. Her research focus still revolves extracellular vesicles, but in the context of aging. She joined Dr. Michele Evans’ research group in the Laboratory of Epidemiology and Population Sciences (LEPS) in July of 2021. She plans to pursue an M.D./Ph.D. after her research training here at the National Institutes of Health.
