Elizabeth BURKE

Biography
Liz Burke began her journey with NIA and the BLSA as a student volunteer in 1990, administering a vigilance task under the direction of Dr. Len Giambra in the Laboratory of Personality and Cognition. She followed that position with a FAES Summer Fellowship in 1991. Later that year Liz returned as a contractor and the following year as an FTE, administering cognitive and neuropsychological tests. She has proudly worked for multiple studies, including BLSA, HANDLS, EXENDIN and GESTALT under the guidance of Dr. Alan Zonderman, Dr Susan Resnick, and Dr Kitner-Triolo. Liz is motivated daily by the excitement of working with participants, processing data, witnessing great minds at work, and so many opportunities for learning and absorbing all the information NIA has to offer about aging and cognition
