Nandini ARUNKUMAR

Biography
Dr. Arunkumar is a Program Director in the Office of Strategic Development and Partnerships, Division of Neuroscience at the National Institute on Aging.
Prior to joining NIA, she worked on Strategic Initiatives at the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Disease (NIAMS) including the Accelerating Medicines Partnership (AMP) Programs in RA/Lupus and Autoimmune and Immune-Mediated Diseases. Nandini brings experience with drug development at successful venture-funded startups. She has been an integral part of teams developing first-in-class biological therapeutics for oncology and autoimmune indications. Nandini has worked with clients in the biotech industry and philanthropic organizations including the Gates Foundation on strategic planning, research enterprise development and competitive landscape assessments.
Nandini holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Immunology from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Masters in Biological Sciences from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
